Corban Piper, 21 years old, started his football journey at Hibiscus Coast, transitioning through North Shore United and later settling at Birkenhead United. His talent shone at Westlake Boys High School, earning him the title of the most promising player in year 11 and captaining the team to a 3rd place finish in year 12.
Post-school, he excelled in the national youth league championship with Auckland City, claiming the championship. Joining Birkenhead United’s first team at 18 & by age 19 Corban earned himself a starting role in which he helped contribute to a 4th place finish in the national league championship, earning him the “young player of the year” award. Venturing to Europe, he played professionally in the Irish first division with Wexford FC, making history and reaching the playoffs with over 31 appearances.
Now back in Auckland with Birkenhead United, Corban looks forward to sharing his wealth of experience and knowledge with others.
